IFX Payments appoints Glenn Uniacke as Chief Revenue Officer

IFX Payments has appointed Glenn Uniacke as its first Chief Revenue Officer.

Glenn brings more than 20 years of FX and global payments experience to IFX, where he will lead the company’s sales teams and manage client acquisition and retention.

He was previously Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer at Moneycorp, where he spent 20 years having joined the company as a Senior Dealer. He began his career at Bankers Trust in Sydney, before returning to London and joining Barclays.

The hire follows a record financial year for IFX Payments, with profits soaring 59% and revenues rising by a quarter. In the last 12 months the international payments provider has bolstered its senior management recruiting Sara Cass as Chief Compliance Officer and Graham Ridley as Strategy Director.

Will Marwick, CEO at IFX Payments, comments: “Glenn is a fantastic addition to IFX and we’re delighted to welcome him on board as we look to expand and build on the momentum of the last 12 months. His wealth of FX experience and proven ability to drive growth in the global payments space will be huge assets.”

Glenn Uniacke, CRO at IFX Payments, comments: “IFX is a best-in-class payments provider that delivers great service and has fostered considerable customer loyalty. I was drawn to the ambition and drive of Will and his team, as well as the company’s clear potential for further growth, both in the UK and internationally. I’m excited to be joining the business and playing my part in its next chapter.”
